Secure Placement Referral Pipeline
Admissions & Placement Referrals
Amazing Heart Healing Home Inc. accepts referrals from provincial Child and Family Services authorities, DFNAs and/or other provincial authorities. Initially, contact is made with the Executive Director to determine the appropriateness of the placement and to ensure that the agency’s mandate is suitable to the child or youth.
Subsequent to the determination that a referred person is appropriate to the mandate and eligibility criteria of Amazing Heart Healing Home Inc., all necessary data collection, mandatory intake packet processing, and initial advisement of rights will occur transparently upon intake.
Unplanned & Emergency Intake:
Staff gather all relevant health and safety information immediately, and the Executive Director or designate will arrange a formal Intake Meeting within 10 days of admission.
Comprehensive Eligibility:
Programs serve all children, youth, adults, and families referred by CFS, Designated First Nations Agencies (DFNA), and out-of-region or out-of-territory children’s services authorities.
